1. Sidereal Zodiac & Lahiri Ayanamsha JYO-101

Notice the Lahiri Ayanamsha badge in the left drawer. Jyotish measures against fixed stars (Chitra Paksha), subtracting ayanamsha from tropical positions (λ_sidereal = λ_tropical − Ayanamsha). Scrub the timeline from 1900 to 2100 to watch Ayanamsha increase by ~50.29″/year from ~22°27' to ~25°15'.

2. The 12 Rashis (Zodiac Signs) JYO-102

The 360° ecliptic scale is divided into 12 equal arcs of 30°00' (Δλ_Rāśi = 30° = 1,800'), 27 Nakshatras (Δλ_Nakṣatra = 13°20' = 800'), and 108 fine radial Pādas (Δλ_Pāda = 3°20' = 200'). The origin point (0°/360°) aligns with the sidereal fiducial cusp of Mesha (Aries) / Aśvinī.

3. The 9 Navagrahas & Retrograde (Vakrī) Pathways JYO-103

Hover over Saturn (Shani) or any Graha to illuminate its exact Planetary Pathway & Retrograde Loop! When Earth overtakes outer planets near opposition, physical AU distance contracts, forming the classic apparent epicyclic loop. Watch the station markers (S_R Station Retrograde in cyan and S_D Station Direct in emerald) and the glowing Vakrī Kshetra arc on the 27 Nakshatras wheel. Toggle the layer anytime with the Pathways button or press key P.

4. Lagna (Ascendant) & Eastern Horizon JYO-105

The orange horizon tangent line across the Earth shows the observer station at Nieuw-Nickerie, Suriname (5.9261° N, 56.9730° W). The Eastern intersection point is the Lagna (Ascendant). As Earth rotates once per sidereal day (24 hours), the Lagna sweeps through all 12 Rashis (~2 hours per sign).

5. 27 Nakshatras & 108 Navamshas JYO-107

The middle concentric ring contains the 27 Nakshatras of 13°20' each (Ashwini to Revati). Each Nakshatra is subdivided into 4 Padas of 3°20' each (27 × 4 = 108 Navamshas). The sidebar displays each body's exact Nakshatra, Pada (P1–P4), and global Navamsha number (#1 to #108).

6. Gochara (Transits) across 200 Years JYO-208

Press Play with speed set to 1w/s or 1m/s to watch real-time transits. Note how Jupiter takes ~12 years to traverse all 12 signs (~1 year per sign), and Saturn takes ~29.5 years (~2.5 years per sign). Enter any historical date (e.g. your birth date) to reconstruct the exact sky!

Observer Coordinates: Nieuw-Nickerie, Suriname (5.9261° N, 56.9730° W, UTC-3). GMST and LMST are derived from Julian Date with sub-second accuracy.
